GLADSTONE, GET ME IN !
Why
don't you add this one quote by Sir William GLADSTONE, which expresses
the real measure of his profound and wise Soul :
"One
immortal Soul is worth more than my speech in Parliament".
Upon
which he left the room of Parliament minutes before he was due to
speak, and followed a young boy upon his request, to rush to where a
little newspaper boy friend of his, to whom he had often been
witnessing about Heaven, was laying a-dying for having been run over
by a cart.
As
he came into the room, he found the newspaper boy badly injured,
holding off death while eagerly awaiting his arrival.
The
young boy asked him : Please, Mister Gladstone, get me in !"
And the Prime Minister knelt by the young boy's side and led
him in prayer right there and then for his Salvation. Shortly after
that prayer, the boy died.
Mr
Gladstone then rushed back to Parliament and arrived just in time
before the session was ended, so he was able to give his speech also
: it is said to have been a powerful speech, which obtained great
success and, I believe, accomplished much good as well - which
it had to do, as Mr Gladstone had set things in their right
perspective and in their PROPER ORDER.

Confession and the SACRAMENT of FORGIVENESS...

POLITICIAN, NOT EVEN « CONSECRATED » TO GOD, BUT FROM A
TIME WHEN POLITICS HAD SOMETHING MORE TO OFFER THAN DICTATURE AND
FOOLISHNESS - AND MAY THEY, TOO, SET THEIR GOD-GIVEN ACTIVITIES IN
THE PROPER PERSPECTIVE AND ORDER...!
They
that have ears to hear, let them hear !... and do...
